WHERE WE WORK
The Yaya Humanitarian Foundation was founded in Immokalee, Florida by sons and daughters of immigrants mostly from Haiti. Our founders are well aware of the difficulty facing new immigrants especially the farm working community.
We have made it our mission to help the farm workers with a lot of issues that they face especially in immigration, education and other social issues.
The mission has chosen the commune of Jean Rabel in Northwestern Haiti because of its dire social, educational and health situations.
The city is located about forty kilometers from Port-de-Paix and 250 kilometers from the capital Port-au-Prince.
